The Flora of Virginia is an exhaustive guide to over 3,100 species of vascular plants found in Virginia. Published in 2012, it includes identification keys and illustrations. It is the first guide to the state’s flora published since the 1700s! VPI staff and specimens were deeply involved in the effort.
